How to join the HOA

The Hunter Olive Association is an association of growers, processors, retailers, distributors, olive grove managers and people with a general interest in olives located throughout the Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia. Our growers produce olives suitable for both olive oil and table, fresh and pickled olives.

The association provides opportunities for members to get together at various events throughout the year.

The association works closely with the Australian Olive Association and the NSW Olive Council to ensure that our information and knowledge is current and in context with the industry generally.

Some of the training activities initiated through the association include:- NSW Department of Primary Industry run horticultural courses, training and information on pruning methods, irrigation, pest management, use of chemicals, biodynamic farming, oil blending, olive oil tasting, harvesting methods and equipment.

Membership fees are $66 per year, and for this you will receive a b-monthly newsletter sent by email.
If you would prefer to receive your newsletter by post, the annual membership will be $77 to cover the additional printing, postage and handling costs.

Members are encouraged to receive their newsletter by email, and will also receive regular email updates of breaking news.
