The association provides opportunities for members to get together at various events throughout the year. The association works closely with the Australian Olive Association and the NSW Olive Council to ensure that our information and knowledge is current and in context with the industry generally. Some of the training activities initiated through the association include:- NSW Department of Primary Industry run horticultural courses, training and information on pruning methods, irrigation, pest management, use of chemicals, biodynamic farming, oil blending, olive oil tasting, harvesting methods and equipment. fees are $66 per year, and for this you will receive a b-monthly
newsletter sent by email. Members are encouraged to receive their newsletter by email, and will also receive regular email updates of breaking news. |
