2015 Results

The number of entries in all classes were up compared with 2014, with 45 olive oil entries, 28 table olive entries, 7 tapenades, and three soaps. This required 4 panels of judges all of whom are from the Hunter Valley except for the Head Judge of the olive oils.
Entries were received from across Australia as well as the Hunter Valley.

The show was again well supported by our sponsors. Many thanks to those sponsors. Food safety testing of table olive classes was implemented fully this year with all of those tested being within guidelines of the Australian Standard. The salt and pH values gave the judges more insight into their evaluations.

An event such as this needs lots of helpers for its success. I would like to thank all those people who volunteered their time to help organise the entries, and to judge the classes on the day, as well as in the weeks leading up to judging day.
