Field Visit to Rosto Grove at Terragong, Merriwa

In May a small group of us travelled to Merriwa to visit Steve and Roey Higgs at Terragong, just outside Merriwa.
Terragong has 50,000 trees, a substantial olive mill and a Colossus harvester.

Steve and Roey were excellent hosts for the day, thank you.

Standing beside the Colossus working through the grove was quite awesome.

Having attended the AOA olive processing workshop at Boort a month earlier, it was very obvious to me, that the mill was well set up and running like the proverbial switch watch, on that day at least!
